PreSAGE is a partner to Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Industry Mentors Network where we get to interact with students on a regular basis to broaden their perspective on career opportunities as well as enhancing their network opportunities.
A group of seven students from the School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology recently visited our office back in late-January. During the visit, we shared about the PreSAGE journey, including the joy and challenges in a start-up environment. It was an enjoyable session with these eager entrepreneurial young minds.
We were impressed with the quality of questions raised. These include:
- Is it better to be a dreamer or a realist in running a start-up?
- What are the pros and cons in patent application for your technology?
- Do you find it a chore to go back for reservist since it takes away your time?
We look forward to the next session, sharing our insights and paying it forward to the next generation.
